The They Might Be Giants of Ohio?

Now I know you have been to Chaz's Records and I bet you really wouldn't like this new music. This cut has a VF Country Death Song feel. And talk about low-fi.

Here's a nice new one from her. You may have heard this.

She's talented and I do enjoy her BUT this is the single best band working these days:

BD, I might agree with your take on Wilco, but these guys will give them a run for their "best band working" title.

And unfortunately, much very good new music is put out by artists that the general public doesn't hear about.

Hey Bill. It's been awhile. I hope the Bill-train is chugging along quite nicely. All us Yankees are fine.

I liked Chuck Brodsky. 'They tried him for Special Ed, but his marks were too low.'

All things, over which I have control, are fine. I have learned to accept the rest and know they will work out for the best even if I am unable to understand/see the good in the outcome.

more Chuck..on a lighter note

"All things, over which I have control, are fine."

May I just point out that in this sentence 'over which I have control' is a relative clause, in this case relative to the subject 'all things' and thus clearly carrying the implication that you wield control over all things and that all things are fine. I wouldn't wish at all to suggest any diminution in your undoubted powers, but removing the commas would give the sense that only those things over which you have control are fine, which I suspect was your intention.

Ok - you can ignore me now. I'm sure these things matter not at all 'cept to a pedantic old goat like me. :-)

thanks to you, i shall always remember the importance of the comma. especially when talking about "that time I helped my uncle jack, off a horse."

Your sentence needs no comma,,, only proper use of capitalization.

Oh it does matter, though perhaps only to "old goats"(you, me and Wm. Tell). Thanks for reminding me that I need to be more careful about such things.

RRE is a great band and I've been aware of Chuck for awhile BUT thank you very much for turning me on to Dave Hardin. Damn good stuff.

I thought this one was available at YouTube, but couldn't find it. This may be my favorite Dave Hardin tune.

That was freakin' great. Thanks. Love seeing "Herb" at the outset.

Also love the license plate reference at the end..

What from todays music will be remembered in 40 years?

Who transcends the basic reality these days?
